Default Boosting LS

On average, how much boost can a B18B1 handle?? Right now, it's at 6 psi. I'm in Houston, Texas, and it reaches around 100 degrees usually. I know I can go more, but I don't feel like replacing an engine. Thnx

i wouldnt push more than 12 but check and make sure that you have a good compresion ratio throughout all 4 cylinders...


allso try a search on here, there will be ALLOT of different opinions on this!

Push it to 16psi. with factory 240 injectors. Go 11's.

naw 20 psi, stock injectors good for low 10s
naw but fo real tho do a search some guy is boostin around 20 or more on stock internals and head but he has a standalone and a fuel system to work with and bigger injetors
