Boosting an f22?
Repost from accord forum
Sup guys, new to these forums. As an introduction my name is Z. Yes just the letter Z, and I own a 1995 accord EX with a lil bit of mods:
First off its the f22b1 engine (vtec)
-tein coilovers
-17 inch black/chrome (lip of rim) rims
-tinted windows
-aem v2 intake
-custom 2.5 inch piping (I think, cant remember exact diameter) to a magnaflow cat
-altezza tailights
Anyway so I was searching around a bit trying to find some information to boost my f22 engine. So far I got that I would need low compression pistons, aftermarket rods, new rod and main bearings of course, a metal head gasket.
Most likely going with the JE pistons, and eagle rods. Or so I think....
I want my car to push about 15psi or so...so the 8psi with stock everything just wont cut what I want to do lol
anyway, thanks for any help you guys can be. I just found these forums and hope to be more involved.
hit me up on aim if u find anything more. thanks

Re: Boosting an f22? (kornmanz)
Whats your hp goal your trying to reach(?), cause that would be more useful information for us to base our thoughts/ recommendations.
Just saying 15 psi does not tell me much.... 15 psi on a t25 is much different than 15 psi on a t3/t4.
I dont want to asume anything and start rambling off information based on the unknown.
