Default Boosting B series

Im planning getting a 96-98 Civic and doing a B series engine. Im also planning to go turbo. What engine will be the easiest to boost and get the most from it? yeah, i know that i have to work the internal first. but I was thinking about getting a B16a2. So, if im wrong about that engine correct me .

For a B series that is boost tolerant on a budget, hard to beat a B18b

i also agree w/ the comments on the B18b...$6-800 buys yuo the motor that can easily put you in the 275whp range...hard to do that with other honda motors for that price...
