there is no X amount of psi a type of block can take. it varies from motor to motor, plus it depends on mileage, condition etc. your question has more questions than answers.

Stock B18's are capable of holding up to 11-12 psi pending on what fuel management u go with... Hondata, AEM programable, etc.

With a good fuel management system you can go beyond 12psi on your motor, its been done numerous times by several individuals on this board. But as thaiphob stated, each engine varies

Just to add to what's been said, you should use whp instead of Psi to measure it's limits. 10 psi on a big turob is not the same thing as 10 psi on a small turbo. I would say 300 whp is nearing or approaching the limit of a stock b18b, whether it takes 10 psi or 15 psi, is up to the size of the turbo .

I would say don't exceed 10-12 psi on the stock bottom end with that amount of mileage, but quikB18B said it the best, size of turbo's make a big difference!

Don't listen to this guy. Also don't pay attention to the big post a few weeks ago where i compared the SC61 and the T-25 on psi levels and WHP. Put the SC61 on your car and boost it to the suggested 10-15psi like everyones saying. Just make sure you videotape it when it throws the rod into the block/head

BTW- i say 10psi with a small turbo such as the T3 or the greddy turbo.

10psi with a smaller turbo will give you ~230whp, you can easily make 300whp...who cares how much boost it takes. I know boosted-hybrid ran acouple of the greddy kits to 17-18psi on stock b18b's..

I was merely telling him to boost 10-15psi on a T3 or a T3/4 turbo. that would put him around the 280-300whp range. I was also telling him NOT to boost 10-15psi on a SC61 or a large turbo b/c that would put him way past 300whp and end up making him throw a rod. Sorry if my other post wasn't clear enough. It was meant to be sarcastic
