oh yeah, and if that is the case. you might aswell save your stock sleeves and pull your pistons out and brake off all the ringlands with a hammer.

You'll go further with lower CR, but you can do about anything if you put your mind to it.

I'm in the middle of waterproofing the block (edit) walls (/edit) in my new shop, epoxying the floors, and running extra 220 breakers for existing welder/air compressor/and future mill/lathe installs. I should have already had the car together already, I lack like $60 in parts and some assembly. Hopefully I'll be terrorizing the streets in it by the New Year. I am teh sux

Have I met you? Because you aren't Dave, Foowee, Bone, and I'm pretty sure you aren't Nick.

No clue about f20x cr's, but as for a thicker hg .070" will lower your comp by ~1cr. Most oem honda hg are .030" in thickness, you will drop your cr by ~.5 for every .020" thicker you go. I personally have a cometic .071" hg, some people swear by cometic, some h8 the hg's. I got the hg long before I knew much better so I figured why not give it a shot. GL.

Run richer, take out more timing than usual, and monitor EGTs because they start climbing when you take out too much timing. When you get her on a dyno, keep it richer, but the ignition tables are easier to dial in, just leave a little more margin for error.

i`m not sure what thickness you would use to lower it to 9:1.

as far as InlinePRO i have the benefit of living 15min away.. i`ve always used their headgaskets on stock bottum builds and they have worked great !! the 2.0mm is used to make 9:1 on the b18c1(USDM). i`ve run 15psi on a stock motor for over a almost 6 months before selling the car and never had compression problems or problems blowing smoke out of the exhaust.. the only thing i would say to do is after installing a head gasket is, run the motor (preferably tuned) drive it until it heats up and boost it. make a few good (hard) passes then go back and torque the head back down (do not remove the head, only re-torque it. )
i think i torqued it down to something like 64ftlbs.
