Default Boosted LS problems

Set-up : LS Block, 81.5 arias pistons, eagle rods, GE blockgaurd, stock LS head.
Car has stock ignition if that matters. Put down 417whp tuned with hondata.

Problems :
1) Car stutters/feels like its choking while cruising sometimes (feels like someone tapped the brakes).
2) Car stalls out when stopping. Ex. Stopping at a red light and putting the car in neutral and it just turns off, but it cranks back up with no problems.
3) Check engine light comes on randomly and then turns off, it never stays on long. Problems 1 & 2 happen even when the check engine light is not on BTW.

All may just be partial throttle tuning issues. Can you ever get the code to show up if you check it?

I had the same exact problems, and it ended up being a tuning issue. My full throttle tune was just fine, it was everything else that wasn't so great. So I had a different tuner (Tony1) clean up my fuel and ignition maps. Rides and drives like a champ now

I had the same problem also with my boosted LS swap.

Check your voltage, mine was dipping down into the 11's at idle from where my Altinator was loose and had a loose battery terminal. The lower volts at idle and lower RPM's had the pump slowing down and instead of reading 46-47psi (fuel at rail) at 20vac. it was reading like 41ish and makeing it run very lean at those rpms.

as soon as i fixed my altinator/battery problem went away.

The car was tuned by Mase and has been running perfect for over a year. The problem just started this past month.

On my swap it was jerking while driving but it ended up being the TPS, since i swapped it out with another one it has been fine. By the way how many pounds where you running to get those numbers?

In that case, I would check on these few things:

1. IACV (make sure its clean or not clogged)
2. Check for vaccum leaks.
3. Check and/or replace your spark plugs.

check your fuel injectors... i had a similar problem.. ended up being a bad connection with one of the injectors. not saying that this is your problem tho.

Its was 22-23psi on c12 and 93 mix. Inline Pro manifold, t3/sc61, 2.5" dp, 3" exhaust, 780cc injectors, walboro 255, skunk2 IM...

yea did you ever get to check the code?

its possible you might have a lean condition in vacuum, because my car seems to act similar when im pretty lean in vacuum.

try raising your idle with the screw a few hundred rpms a nd see if it helps, cause it sounds lilke the motor isnt catching itself on the way back down, there is a small chance that might help
