T04b/t3 comp: s-3 turb: .48 stage II

Spools quick, full boost by 3000 but top end falls off. Good for around town, but not so much for drag or max power.

Straight t3, .48 a/r

With 2.5" to stock Gsr muffler, full spool by 3500 rpm. Great around town driving/street. Strong mid range, good topend... but runs out of breath at the top.

The car was a beast out of the hole.

^ holy ****...... nice... but that set up is way too hardcore for me.... i won't be raising redline or anything.... nor will i be going with turbo cams..... this is a street car that might see the odd drag

If you want to have the boost kick in early and dont plan on running much, go with a T3, or even a T25(very small). If you want to set it up for drag racing go with a t3/t4.

^ yeah i am thinking about t3/t04e 50 trim, .63 a/r.... but where would this start to spool and where would it reach full boost on an LS??.... ( i don't want something that's going to lag until like 3900rmp)... i'd like something that starts around 3000rpm but doesn't run out of steam before redline...

8.8:1 compression pistons...t3/t04e .63 turbine .60 compressor .57 trim....i spool at 3-3.4k and get full boost at 4.5-6k depending on what gear i'm in. keeps pulling till the end...

stock LS. stage 3-.63 T3/T04e 57 trim. starts to spool @ 2500. 7lbs @ 3700. 13lbs @ 4400. Pulls hard from 5k-6500 and then falls off till I shift @ 7500. Im pretty happy w/ it 230tq and 270hp was good enough for 12's.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by 2lowintegra &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">i'd like something that starts around 3000rpm but doesn't run out of steam before redline... </TD></TR></TABLE>

A T3 is basically what you're looking for... the LS redline is not so high that she'll run out of steam.... heh... there's a reason it's used on so many production turbo cars.
