Boosted Hybrid Tuned! Dyno graph, video and more!
Well, I had a few problems, which is not too uncommon. My idle is kinda fucked up, but it's not cuz of the tune. Something is wrong, I will figure it out sooner or later. Anyway, after searching for the problem for about an hour we started to tune.
3000rpm's, very light load and the car started to knock like crazy. WTF? I was really scared.
Well the timing was advanced, alot, and we had to turn it back.
The final numbers were around 263whp and 170wtq, at 7.5 psi with the E-cutout open. (I wanted 300whp, but Jeff said it would be unsafe to up the boost on pump gas, with my 11:1 Compression ratio) BTW, I love the E-cutout. My car is silent with it closed, and when it's open, well you could imagine, it's rediculous.
The setup, just incase you forgot.
Toyosupr Equal length manifold
GT32e turbo
Tial 38mm
3" DP to 3" E-cutout.
DSM injectors
Uberdata
24x12x3 IC
Here are some pictures going out to PA, and While I was there, and a quick dyno video too.

Dyno video: (Not the final run, it was still really rich here)

JDM b16a motor, p30 pistons, gsr head, oem headgasket. It's about 11.0 to 1, maybe slightly less.
The CEL is for the IACV, it's unplugged, because when it is plugged in the idle jumps from 3k to 1k and keeps doing that.
Jeff mentioned that the torque curve was very nice for a 1.6L.

I think Jeff is one of the best tuners out their. He definatley has the right dyno to do the job. Those dynapacs read low but they are so user friendly. They are SOOOOOOO easy on your car and clutch its retarded. Being able to "stall" the motor at any load point is great for pinpointing minute tuning problems. The resolution on the dynapack is also really something else. I was just totally impressed when I ran my car on one.
Not to mention doing a 4th gear pull in my car is one of the scariest things in the world. I'm upwards of 135mph at the top of 4th and if your car jerks a little at those speeds on a roller dyno your gonna mess some stuff up! High torque fwd's just REALLY don't like to stay on a dyno. In my area they are used to strapping down RWD cars and they don't get the fwd's down right (or don't care) and it can get ugly.

what do you expect from a b16 with a fairly large turbo @ low boost?
Nice numbers for 7.5psi

What ecu are you using..Doesnt the IACV problem is because you need to go from a 3 wire IAC to a 2 wire one?

At what RPM do you see 7.5lbs of boost from the GT32E? Also, is it a GT3251E or a GT3255E? Good numbers. Let's see some 1/4 times

I THINK full boost is a little under 5k, I haven't really stared at the gauge yet lol\
I'm using a p28 ECU. Maybe this is the problem? If I get a chipped obd I p72, will that fix it?
