Boosted EF Sedan Running Lean in 2nd
hey all....i need some help. I've got a greddy turbo kit on my civic, running blue box emanage and have increased the boost from the stock setting to 8 psi. It's been running great but in the past few days i have noticed that it's running lean in 2nd gear at higher rpms- 5K+ its hitting 12.2 under WOT in full boost. This jist started happening and i'm not sure what the explination is. I'm running stock fuel pump/injectors and stock ignition timing... i just wondering if there is anything i can do to get the AFRs back down without having to sacrifice the boost level that i'm at. could possibly adjusting the ignition timing help? i know that i could also add a AFC but cant do it right now. I also have a set of RC 440s but i'm not sure if that's goign to help. any help would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like you skipped a lot of steps.
Just bump fuel pressure till its where you want and check the plugs which I hope aren't stock. If you're under say 220hpish the stock fuel pump will keep up (barely :p)

step away from the car and bring it to a tuner.
seriousely at min get crome & a walbro intake fuel pump and spend a few hours on the dyno.

12.2AFR isn't that lean. the box is compensating by increasing duty cycle on its own (CROME would be going backwards) so that its compensating. Simply raising base fuel pressure will throw the whole system out of wack, because it already reads fuel pressure from the blue box (which is only a pre-set emanage blue depending upon the year kit he bought.)
People on H-T are afraid of the e-manage anyway, so don't sweat it so much. BUT. If you turn it up any higher, say goodbye to the engine, AND when in doubt, depending upon the year kit you have, retune... If not, leave it alone until you have the funds to do so.
