Default boosted d16z6 and broken ringland advice needed please!

well been boosting about a year now on stock internals! t25, 450cc dsm's, and the vafc hack set 0 to 5000 rpm is set @ -40 and then -35 to the redline! been pushing about 9 psi. This is the second time its broken last time was 750 miles ago and it had a full rebuild then just rebuilt it again yesterday and obviously i dont want be doing it again! any ideas on whats going wrong? i suspect detonation/pinging! just want some views and opinions..

Thinking about buying some eagle rods and wiseco pistons/ any views?

Quit using the AFC hack and get some real management like uberdata. Your timing is probably advanced to hell.

How do you know when you've broken ringlands? Lots of smoke or something?
