Boosted CRX project in DFW

I know a guy with a boosted zc motor that was running mid 12s on 6lb of boost.

Actually the stock placement of the wastegate was hitting against the radiator...so Stoney had to cut and re-weld....

The car was finished today and tuned. The Crx left on 8psi Making 270hp

looks awesome bro, I wish I would of never bought my supercharger and went with a turbo setup, when do you start to feel the power?

All of the Piping was done a Veloctiy Performance by our fabricator Stoney

That looks great....but with all of the hard work and $$$ obviously poured into this project, why skimp on the block? It's going to suck *** when you have to tear all of that apart to replace a toasted motor...

Why go with injectors that are close to being maxed out or higher in there duty cycle when you can get a bigger injector for the same price that allows for making more power in the future.

The customer was happy with the power he would make on the stock motor and didnt have the funds to build the motor at this time but has plans to build the motor in the future so stay tuned...

hey, this is Rigo. As 92SleepyHB said, I do plan on building the motor. Everything in the setup might seem over kill to some, but I won't really have to change any parts once the motor is built . I am very happy with the power band; it just keeps going. I'll post up pics of the finished product a little later, maybe even a video

i'm about to do the same work on ym car......Nice little Turbo charge with some new internals.....Good to see someone fixing the b16 and not being a L-hungry b18 no vtec guy. I can't wait to see more pics....gives me inspiration
