Default boosted b16 turbo ?'s

I have a b16 and im putting on a peakboost ftw kit soon, its going to be daily driven and im looking to make decent power, over 300whp. I'm planning on using rc650cc injectors but before I order them I want to make sure that I don't need a larger size, what do you think? Another question is will I have to get a map sensor(since im going to be going over 10psi probaly) and what is a good brand and website to check them out on? Or any other info on map sensors would be great. My mod list is so far consisting of what i have and what i want is the ftw kit, exhaust, competiton clutch, arp headstuds, headgasket, fuel pump, rc 650cc, benen fuel rail, p28 chipped getting tuned on crome.

You're on the right track, RC 650's should be fine for your power goals. With the right turbo and exhaust setup you could hit 300whp at around 10 psi of boost .. so stock MAP sensor should do fine, or you can upgrade to a 2.5-Bar if you want. ( Not sure about the upgraded fuel-rail though, I've heard that stock should do fine at those power levels. )

might aswell get the GM 3 bar map or equivalent just incase you do go over the 10 psi to reach your goal.

thanks, where can i get the 2.5-bar at? I might get it just incase.

also would it be worth my while to get gsr cams? My one friend has a gsr intake cam for sale so idk if it will even be worth my time.

One manifold has the turbo at the bottom, and the other has the turbo at the top. Thats it. Its your bling-bling factor that is the deciding point between the two. I always view the top-mount manifolds as more 'Bling' than the traditional ramhorn manifold.

another fuel question is that i see the rc injectors are 650cc SATURATED, is that ok? Do i need a fuel rail and fuel pressure regulator? I was thinking of the benen fr and blox fpr, what other fuel components would i need?

Saturated means you don't need a resistor box. 650cc's will be good for about 400whp with a decent pump (Walbro 190lph minimum). The stock fuel rail & FPR are fine for 300whp, even 400whp for your future needs. You would benifit from a MAP upgrade for your future needs, but a B16 can crank out 300whp with an average turbo at 10psi. I'd suggest something like the Omni 4bar, since its a bolt-on replacement, and is much more linear than the GM 3bar POS.

This is also to the OP: Please read the FAQs about the characteristics and differences b/w the types of manifolds. It is an at length discussion about these difference. It is not that Black & White.

Agreed.

I'd just a 2.5bar at the least map sensor and a bigger fuel pump if you don't have one already.
Other then that save some money for tuning the car.

The 650cc's will be large enough for your goals. I don't recall if you mentioned a MAP sensor, but get a GM 3bar before you tune. Also, ditch the Fuel Rail and pick up a set of better cams. Even a set of GSR cams is better than the stock B16's. If you can, find a set of ITR or Blox B's

No. not for your purposes. 8200-8400rpms will suffice for your power needs.

Im not a forced induction guy, but wouldn't a RDX MAP sensor work? And bolt on in the stock location?
