Possible, yes. Reliable, not without some good research and ghetto riggin' stuff. Just go with an affordable option like crome. Do a search on it or go to pgmfi.org and do a bit of research. GL.

Thanks,
Have looked on there before and decided to get a zif socket installed on my ecu, had a chap install a re-mapped 'chip' and he also sent me a jigged copy of chrome i think. Car overfuelled like crazy when the chip was installed and had a constant check engine light, got him to burn another chip which had the same problem.
Bought a so called Jun racing 'chip' from ebay which ran stock, but when plugged in the other way had a check engine light and redlined at 3,000rpm every gear.
Decided to rip it out but left the ZIF socket still installed. Car still overfuelling and has very low idle, hope i haven't fried the ECU!
Also, wanted to do datalogging so purchased a Nokia datacable but since i had all these probs i just kinda gave up!
Would be nice if i could send the ecu off somewhere, have a new zif socket installed and a new chip and start again. Trouble is here in the UK i know of no boosted Civic's let alone someone capable of re-mapping with chrome etc!
So annoyed!

Re: (Powelly)
Well, it sounds like it's time for you to do a lot of reasearch/reading and learn some tuning basics. Then you can buy a wideband and street tune your car yourself. I would really like to do that myself and someday I will, but I will do a LOT of research before I do.
