After I installed my MSD Boost timing master I have been haveing problems with my tach. It falls off after 6 or 7 k rpm's. Has anyone else had this problem with theirs?

yes i had the exact same problem with mine....do you have the seperate btm or the 6btm ignition? i had the one supplied with the f-max turbo kit and the only thing we ever came up with was that it might have been defective. As soon as i hit about 5grand the tachometer would just go haywire moving back in forth all the way from zero to redline...the car still pulled but the tach was moving like it was a compass....after i took the btm out it ran fine....really turned me off to using those btm things

thanks for the info...I am very relieved. I called MSD and they have what they call a tach adapter that is supposed to Get rid of the problem. Another $30 down the drain!
