boost with stock internals
what boost can i run with stock internals with a h22 form a 98 prelude vs. a b18c1 from a 94 gs-r? i am selling my mustang and buying a honda to turbo it and want to know wich one yeilded the most forced induction power and durability.
i am at 3000 feet above sea level and 13psi here would be 10psi at sealevel.
so basically which ones can handle the most boost and will get more power to the wheels.
if i am looking to have an all around good car, (auto-x, road race, drag) with a little more emphasis on straightline perf. which car would be better.
gs-r or h22 prelude.

Re: boost with stock internals (4ceFedTeg)
I would not go any higer than 7 on stock pistons and rings, there have a tendancy to let go, and hate detonation, be carefull with that motor. use the search function here on HT, or go into the prelude forum, lots of info out there.
