planning on picking up a turbo off a dsm. (forgot all the specs, will post them later) using a drag gen 3 mainfold, bov and boost controller (not sure what ones yet). what boost level would be decent for daily, reliable driving. i was thinking somewhere between 5-7. i'm not going to be doing any tuning and it will be run on a pure stock motor.

5-7 should be safe.

 

I didn't know a t25 or 14b dsm turbo had the same footprint as a t3 so it can bolt up to a drag manifold?

 

That is right, the DSM turbo will not bolt right to the DRAG manifold without modification.

 

um. probably should have looked in to that huh. think an adapter plate would do the job?

 

As long as it seals properly, yeah.
