Default boost spike issues

i got street tuned and car ran fine. Im tuned on 11lbs for now. When i do WOT pulls my boost spikes to around 13-15 and i hit boost cut and it like hits a brick wall. What could cause this? im using a deltagate wastegate and an MBC. I have an EBC which im going to hook up later tho. My friend had a deltagate and had no issues but i read that it does have some issues. i unhooked my mbc and ran off of wastegate but only got like 3 lbs out of it..and i have a 7lb spring. anything else i should look for?

check all vaccume lines on the wastegate, possibly one is off or has a hole in it. If it didnt spike on the dyno then its not your mani, so im guessing your problem is within your wastegate if your only seeing 3lbs on a 7lb spring. But like posted above... more info

If it held at 11 before and now spikes to 13-15, get a vac leak tester. If its always spiked, thats fairly common depending on your wastegate and placement.

load is different from the dyno to the road/track....and most likely your problem. thats why we spend good money for good boost controllers.
