Boost Situation?
Here is what i have. The car is a 98 integra and the engine is a b20 sleeved by Blueprint Racing with a diamond bore\hone wiseco 9:1 turbo pistons (stock bore) eagle h beams stock crank, b16 head skunk2 valves spring and retainers (undecided on wich cams to run) built by alamo autosports and my fuel management is a s300. My goal is to get in the 500-550 hp range and retain my ps and ac. Will this be possible with a t3-t4 and how do i determine what sensors and injectors will be needed? I am not new to honda's but i am new to turbo so any links to threads on turbo theory would also be appreciated.

Re: Boost Situation? (whitehatchguy)
Well are you thinking pump gas or race gas?
I just made 540 whp while keeping AC, PS, and ABS...but I had to drop a ton of money into my car for the right motor build, manifold etc. You can hit your power goals with a GT35r, however, not many tuners are comfortable going above 500 whp on pump gas...I just have one of the best tuners out there.
I can help guide you, however I am thinking you are going to need a bigger bore and stroke to get near the power you want on pump gas...race gas you will be fine.

To the OP I didn't see you have a B20 block....what stroke is that crank?

Well with 91 octane I'd personally advise you only shoot for like 450 whp....Call me conservative, but a 450 whp motor with AC is more fun than a paper weight...lol.
Let me know if you are really serious and I will help guide you with parts, tuning, etc. I kept of entire list of my build...I'm getting ready to make a thread in a little while later today..so you can refer to that for starters..give me like 30-60 mins

21 lbs made 540...19 made 507. Keep in mind boost doesn't matter....what I run is irrelevant. Turbo size, motor, etc, everything effect how much power 1 lbs of boost really makes.

Thats what im trying to understand. You would think 21lbs is 21lbs just how fast it gets to 21lbs would be the difference.

Everything is a variable...21 lbs on a D-series won't make the same power as 21 lbs on a B series. Displacement, turbo size, compressor housings, exhaust housing, all come into play. Just use the search function...there are 100's of threads on this type of stuff.

Re: Re: (whitehatchguy)
Well it depends if you want faster spool or more highend power....Just research some more on it.. But for instance a .62 CR housing on a GT35r will spool faster with less high end power than a .82
