Ok first off. Does anyone here have a low comp engine and a zdyne ecu? I'm getting this hesitation in my eclipse (which I heard zdyne's ecu was similar) that I don't think is the plugs. I'm thinking it's just the ecu retarding the timing or possibly detonation? I have never experienced detonation before so I wouldn't know what it feels like. A description of what's happening is I can downshift a gear and the engine will do this little bump deal like it's slowing down but it feels like a miss. Ok second question for boost. How can I make my crx engine bulletproof? (can I still have semi high compression, 9.5 on the stock zc, and boost?) Should I build my eclipse for higher boost or should I build the crx for boost? I probably won't race the eclipse at autocross because the crx is just so much better feeling in the corners.
