boost problems...
I got a 92 honda civic dx. turbo d16y8 w/ y7 head. t3 turbo .42/.48 trim. my question is i had a 7lb spring in my gate. but the boost gauge would read up to as high as 12-14lbs. im not sure why its not gating. it looks like it might be partially cause im not running a dumptube right now and it melted through my hood latch cable. so i bought a .6 bar spring thinking maybe it was a junk no name spring and still the same thing. im going to take apart the wg and check for holes in the diaphram, but somebody said that he thinks the mani is to big for the motor?? has anyone heard of this? its an OBX-R Ramhorn turbo mani. just trying to fig this out before i dump 250 for a new wg or 500 for mani. i have to get thiss figured before i can head out and get tuned. thanks.
