Boost problem - Wastegate or Controller?
My wastegate is a tial 38 mm w/ .6 bar spring and my controller is a greddy profec B spec 2.
I have been running .9 bar for quite a while now and last weekend on the dyno we decided to go up to 1.1 bar. The high boost settings on my profec B were in the 60% range I believe and gain at 10. We started cranking up the % ... and eventually the gain and all we can get it to do is spike to like 1.1 or 1.2 bar (12 gain I assume is doing this), then it falls back to .9 bar.
The best I can figure, the wastegate spring is probably weak, any other thoughts?

i had the same problem. set the start boost to whatever boost level u want to run. it's under set gain on the ebc... i think u press select twice to get to it. so say u wanna run 1bar... u set the "set gain" aka start boost to 1bar. then u adjust the % until it holds that level. i have my gain @ 10%. hope this helps
