boost increase...injector/fuel pump question
I have a 98 ITR with a jrsc. The supercharger came with a fuel pump upgrade. I'm increasing my boost, but staying under 10 psi. I've been told two different things about fuel supply. One person told me that the stock injectors were fine, but I would need a different fuel pump. Another guy told me that I need larger injectors, but that the jrsc fuel pump was sufficient. What do you guys think?
Does anyone know for certain the diameter of the crv pulley and how much it will increase the boost on my ITR?
I know that I need a fuel management system, but I can't afford the tuning right now. I'm going to wait to tune until after I get my new exhayst system. (Next Christmas)

Re: boost increase...injector/fuel pump question (fredtoast)
If you can't afford tuning right now then I wouldn't turn up the boost right now, especially on an ITR. My freind has a GSR with a CRV pulley and runs 13 psi some times 14, with a better flowing header and exhaust it might be a little lower. For fuel he has a walbro intank pump, 370 cc injectors, and some super duper Cartech FMU. His car is runnind better than it ever has with this set-up. He also has a J&S safeguard and runs 16 degrees base timing. I think that your pump is fine but at least get some injectors.

In a way both of your friends were right. You can do one of two things: run small injectors at high presssure or run large injectors at low pressure.

If I eventually install a hondata system won't I have to go with the larger injectrors then anyway?
