Default Boost Help

I'm doing a turbo install/build for a local here in town and he's asked me to do the work on his car... He's dropped of $5000.00 for me to create a kit for him... I suggested replacing pistons, rods etc to build up the block a little but he's opted around that... So basically he just wants a complete turbo setup on his 99 B18C1 GSR. If you guys were starting all over again, what setup would you go with and whats the kit/setup cost... If someone could give me a quick run down as well as break up the pricing on each part I'd really appriciate it...

Right now I've been thinking about getting him the Peak Power B-Series kit from cheapturbo.com which I've listed a link below... Opinions, suggestions? Thanks... I know the Pressision turbos are the bandwagon thing right now..

Why not just get the full-race kit, hondata, larger injectors, fuel pump and tuning and call it a day. My dream anyways.

What's he doing with it? Might want to save money for gauges and oil cooler/radiator if he's road racing/HPDE.

Even so, $5000 is cutting it close if you want good tuning/boost controller/wb02/egt/boost gauge/etc.

well the cars a 99 GSR... The guys plans are to drag it here and there but 99% of the time he just wants to commonly daily drive it..

From what I've seen on the car so far, It looks like I'm gonna need a complete turbo kit of some kind, fuel pump, injectors, hondata, turbo timer, manual boost controller and boost guage.

Are you going to buy a kit or are you going to buy each single peice for the turbo system? If your going to peice it togeathor, thats going to be quite a bit of work.... But worth it in the end. Hondata and bigger injectors as well as a fuel pump are a must with this setup.
