Default Boost gauge install question

I recently installed a JRSC on my 2000 GS-R. This is my first attempt at FI and i have a question about installing a boost gauge. I have the autometer boost gauge but i can't figure out a place to run the vacuum line. I am installing 3 gauges in a gauge pod going up the driver door. How did you guys install yours. Thanks

I know that, but how do i get the vaccum hose up throuth the dash so i can hook it up to the gauge. I can't find a place that the hose will fit through.

I just stuffed mine through 1 of the factory firewall grommets. My car's quite old(91) and have had various wires and whatnot installed and removed so mine are a bit stretched out, so it's easy.

I can get mine through the firewall but how can i run the hose up to the gauge pod. If i run the hose through the firewall it comes out down by the fuse box. How can i get it up past the dash so i can get it behind the pod?

you should be able to feed it up the dash and into the pillar between your door and your windshield. rather than trying to fight with gravity, i would suggest taking off the molding of the pillar, and feed a wire down until you can see it from under the dash. then, tape your hose to the wire and then pull the wire back out from the top and it will bring the hose right up with it.
