You can do it! It's a pita running the vac line through the firewall and if your gonna use a pillar guage pod it's gonna be a bitch running the power plug and vac line, other than that it's easy.
All you really need to know is where to get your power source from, where to ground, and where to 'T' in the vac line from the boost guage.

i have a the Drag turbo kit, w/fuel regulater, and stuff, so i already have like 2 or 3 "T"'s...where should i put it? is that all there is to it? i just need this temporarily, and i don't care if it lights on or not, so do i need to connect the wires for it to fully work? or just for the light to come on? thanks.
if its mechanical u only need to hook up the vac line and make sure u can see the thing when ur driving. or have someone else watch it at least. the install is simple, u just need to plan out where ur gonna run ur lines and where u want it to be mounted

t off of one of ur vacuum lines. just pick one off of the manifold. fpr, brake booster, etc. so u have two main options. tube from gauge goes into the T. as for the other two ends of the t, u can either cut the stock vacuum line and stick one end of each on the T, or take off one end of the vacuum line, put that one one end of the T, and run another small vacuum line from the other end of the t to wherever it used to go.

hehe yea the instruction pretty much cover all u need to know. i guess it could still be hard if u dont know what ur lookin for. i know some people dont even know where vac lines are etc, but u gotta learn sometime anyway. but i think my friends hatchie had the stock stickers under the hood still and even had a chart that showed all the vac lines. but if not, do ur research in the archives or break out the helms
