Boost controller issue??
ok...my car has a boost issue. I have a home made boost control I got from a freind. I think it may be the issue, but I guess I need to ask some questions to clarify....
First off, either way I hook up the boost control (by switching around the tubing on the nipples) it does the same thing.....I can't adjust it to under 10+ lbs of boost. My freind drilled a tiny hole in one of the fittings to see what would happen. Basically, as one would expect, the boost went down. Now I can adjust it from 5 Psi at the lowest and up. Is there a problem with running this the way I am? With that tiny hole closed up, it seemed to spool faster, but like I said, I couldn't keep the boost under 10 psi. Could I make the boost controller larger, this way it would hold more air inside it??? I hope I'm not making this confusing
I just want to make sure what I am doing is ok. If I need to clarify in any way lemme know
