Ok I got a problem. MY wastegate sits real close to my motor mount on my s2k. I had to grind a good amount of the mount for the wastegate to fit. I also had to remove the top nipple from the wastegate. My question can I up the boost VIA Boost control on AEM's program with a solinoid NOT using the top Nipple on the wastegate? Is there a bleeding type way of some short that I can use on the bottom nipple?
i belive in the aem help files on the manager it tells you how the boost solenoid can be setup.
EDIT.
i found the boost control stuff in the help file, but it does not say which ports should be used on the solenoid.
can you just move the fitting to a differant location on the wastegate, and plug the original. as long as its above the diaphram, you should be good to go.

I think it should be set as normally open in that case. That way it would fail with spring pressure (minimum). Then as it wants to increase boost, it starts to block the port, preventing the valve from opening. EBC's really help when using that top port, since that can help counteract any forces from backpressure acting on the valve face - mainly faster spool when using a weak spring.
Edit: you may want to just plug that top port and tap another into the side (on top half, of course). It doesn't matter too much where the hole is, as long as the diaphragm doesn't have any sharp burrs to rub on.
