Default boost + compression question

ok, i was wondering how much difference .6 in compression makes. Say its 10.0:1 compared to 10.6:1 or 9.8:1 compared to 10.4:1. is it really a big enough difference to keep it at the lower compression compared to the .6 points higher?

IMO, that is a big difference. just for example, gsr about 10.1 and type r around 10.6, which is what youare comparing (.6) and pound for pound, the type r will make more power than gsr when boosted. spool up time will also be faster for the R.

but in the end, the higher CR will be funner to drive while not feeling as sluggish. lower CR leaves you and your tuner more room for error in the tuning. so ask you tuner what he recommends for you.
