Default Bolt grade?

Yep I searched. I know the exact size im going to need for my bolts that connect the turbo to the manifold.

Im just trying to figure out what grade of bolts do you guys use. I think grade 8 strenght should work.

Any sugguestions?

Are you talking grade 8 US or 8.8 Metric?

I wrote this post right after I got off the phone with my dad. He just told me grade 8.

Heres my specs, 10mmx1.25 (30mm)

That would be 8.8 technically. Heres some specs for you:

Im sure 8.8 would be fine but considering the weight and extreme thermal expansion Id go with grade 10.9

Yeah 10.9 it is.

Can I use the same grade for the down pipe bolts aswell?

all the bolts on the engine and tranny stock are grade 8.8

of course. the stronger, the better. you can never go wrong with an overkill bolt.
