i would say search, because I know both are not the best option, but this has been covered before. Drawbacks to both I guess.

I am not sure what to tell you, I have never had experience with a blue box. I had an experience with fmu and check valves, but I had bigger injectors and it ran fine. Just had to pull some timing. Why can't you go with uberdata?

blue box, simpler install, less worry with tuning it right. it will work on any honda/acura car with an ecu.

oh and they are much cheaper brand new off ebay than either an fmu or missing link (which you need both to do the other setup).

also, one little bit of info just make sure you get the proper one...either the sohc one or the dohc one. The sohc one works with smaller injectors, the dohc works with larger injectors and you would have to chip your ecu to recognize the larger injectors, install larger injectors, and have a dohc blue box to run it correctly.

I'd say the fmu because you don't have to deal with timing recurve

blue box is garbage, uberdata all the way. If you dont have the money to have it tuned, then dont boost. I dont understand why people will pay all this money for a turbo setup and go boost without tuning, or run a shitty ems. Save your money, use uberdata, get tuned, and you will gain hp + reliability.

blue box is under-rated and hated on by people who simply dont know any better. Its a good plug-and-play low boost fueling solution.

best way to tell the difference in the two units is to literally buy it new from a guy just selling it from his kit and then you'll know for sure. Other than that most of the time the dohc one will have an extra set of leds on it but that's up in the air for whether it will be like that or not.

I would never put an fmu on my car, those things are notorious for tearing diaphrams and/or not working properly due to a bad vacuum line somewhere bleeding off the pressure they need to function properly.

but anyway, you just do what you want to do man, hell, it's your car. people on here are just going to bash back and forth at the different options due to their own personal preferences....that and there's a lot of trolls running around on here

The blue box looks like a nicer piece of junk.

Put your glasses on and read about uberdata check out http://www.efituningforless.com - they can socket a p28 for a good price.

it's got a single green led on the cover that lets you know it works. duh.

I had one of the earlier integra blue boxes a while back and it had 5 green ones on it in a row, just simply didn't know if this was a standard difference or not was all.

What exactly is the blue box? Is it like a piggyback with preset setting for timing/fuel?

The blackbox is just a missing link, that's it.

I don't remember how you can tell the difference between a SOHC and DOHC blue box, sorry. Just ask the seller.
