i got my greddy kit, bov, still waiting for the ic. should be here within a week or so. im not going to be installing the kit for another month or so (thats when my car is going back on the road), so can i install the blue box before i install the turbo kit. i dont use the car on the road i just start it up and let it idle every couple days to keep everything straight until i can get it back on the street. will the car still run without the turbo installed and the box installed, will it have any bad effects? i just wanna get a head start on some of the install....

btw: this is the 92-95 sohc kit going on a 00

 

i believe that you can install the blue box with the stock injectors and should run. you just can not boost with the stock injectors, but you can not since you dont have the kit yet.

 

i do have the kit (not the intercooler), its the kit for the sohc so it doesnt come with injectors. am i correct in saying it shouldnt adjust my fuel since it wont see boost? so it should be ok to install it without installing the turbo?

I run with check valves and fmu.....u shouldnt install blue box w/o new injectors...not sure...but that is what I was told

 

False. The blue box was designed to work with STOCK injectors.

You can install it, and idle it, you will be fine,
