Default blowoff in neutral?

I know that turbo eclipses have a loud blowoff when reving in neutral.

However, Integras don't seem to blowoff while revving in neutral with no real load on the engine. Is there a reason for this?

i think because stock turbo cars run off pressure while our cars run off vacuum. like if u disconnect an intercooler pipe of theirs, the car wont start. thats how my friends mr2 is.

because stock turbo cars come with smaller turbos than our turbos. If you want to blow off in neutral, raise your compression to 11:1 and slap on a t25.

Small displacement and big turbo = no blow-off...

OEM turbo cars normally comes with a small turbo and are generally 2L + hence you don;t need a load on them to get a blow-off...

Well when I turned the boost up to like 9ish psi I have found that it does blow off in neutral... It never used to at 6.5psi!!

Sounds good..

Yea it would be nice to be able to Blow Off sitting in traffic......... I dont think it is nessacarily ricey hahaha of course i have altezza's so in effect I am a rice boy so my vote doesn't count............. Rice is made by short people in flooded feilds. I have always pondered as to why the main staple of many cultures is used on import boards as a discrace. I mean isn't all rice JDM. Isn't that cool ?? Is it because there is so much of it and so little flavor? But then some would argue that its the way you cook it......... my .02
