Default Blown head gasket???

I just picked up my car on Tuesday and on Friday afternoon the temp. guage went up a little while I was on the highway. I turned on the heater and it went back down. After work I added coolant (it was a little low) and on Saturday I went to work and drove around a little bit and it was fine. Later on that evening I came to a stop and my car would barely idle, then it would just die whenever I stopped. To start it I had to give it gas when I turned the key and a big cloud of white smoke would come out of the exhaust (it reeked of antifreeze). I was on the highway and the smoke stopped, but then the temp. guage went up fast and kept jumping up and down. It fianlly wouldn't go down, so I pulled over and truned to car off. I left it in a parking lot and came back later and the cooland level was really low. I know coolant is leaking past the head gasket, but could it be that I need to retorque my head studs? I know you need to do it, but I've only had the motor for approx. 300 miles. So I guess my question is do you guys think I blew the head gasket or do I just need to retorque my head studs?

BTW, I have a 1.3mm Clemetic(sp?) head gasket and ARP head studs (if you didn't guess that already).

I think its your head gasket personally or even better a cracked head.

you might not have torqued down the studs correctly or maybe it wasnt sealing. check the deck and the head to see if they are warped

If it just needs to be torqued down, do I still need to get a new head gasket?
