blow by (valve cover breather).
94 accord h22a swap... t3t4 turbo stock internals 6psi
i simply put a breather on my valve cover breather. today i swapped out my blow off valve, while doing so i took off my breather, ended up forgetting to put it back on, first time driving the car in awhile because i had a leaking BOV, i ended up tapping my rev limiter in 2nd... at the time i didnt even think about it, i run type s cams and valves with the stock p13 ECU, so my rev limiter is below type s specs.
pull into my drive way, pop the hood and my entire fire wall on the passenger side is covered in oil. jack up the car started checking my feed line and return line, oil filter, the sandwich plate for my return etc... everything was good, i noticed i forgot to put my oil breather back on.
ive herd when you hit your limiter, oil rushes to the top. if thats true that would explain the extereme excessive blow by i had.
problem i see to be bigger, before my car was turboed, i had started it multipul times without the breather hooked up to my intake, never had smoke coming out... weelllllll now i do, and its more than enough to be putting chills down my spine.
oils clean, waters clean so its not the head gasket, i spaced checking the PCV valve ill run and compression test tomorrow in the light. could it be a bent valve? what are some other things i should look for?
i guess if theres anything wrong... ill have an excuse to replace the pistons and rods. :/
