i'm in the process of buying a blow off valve.........and can't decide which one to get...i all heard different opinons, but still undecided on either the hks super sequential, greddy type s, or the blitz super sound blow off valve......I want a nice sound also something people can hear as i fly by them....please state which one u have heard and liked???need help....

You can barely hear your bov in that vid. I wanna hear what the hks racing bov sounds like. Where's the vids dustin?

if my car is in neutral..and i just rev it up the blow off doesnt go off...if i drive off then it will start going off...its weird.(hks ssbv) ive heard 2 greddy type S's in the past 2 days and both of them revved up in neutral and were going off like crazy...the HKS tends to be pretty fluttery unless you really hold the clutch down....im not that happy about it right now. but oh well.

 

i've got the greddy type s and i like it alot. the sound is good,not to loud but you can here it.....my friend has the hks and it's loud!
i think you should go with the type s

 

That's exactly what mine(Greddy Type S) sounds like, that distinctive semi truck brake sound. It's really noticeable, not a whoosh but more a high pitched squeek. I love hunting for people on the freeway with their windows down, just so i can pull right next to them and squeek in their ear.

I've done the same with my GReddy Type S... My girl calls my BOV sound that sound of my car "breathing"... it's just a whistling rush of air, easily drowned out my a little radio... sounds REALLY good

See, I myself am not a fan of the *squeek*, but rather a fan of the *woosh*...I DON'T know BOVs by there name...which make what noise?

so far i like that sound from the greddy type s....the hks ss just makes a short whistle noise then a puuuuuuhh sound.......i wanna hear what the apexi, the blitz and the tial sound like...........anymore clips?

 

I will post up my HKS Racing Type II when i get my turbo running, hopefully by thursday. I still need to order my missing link thing.
