Im only running about 6psi (5.83 wastegated) on my type rs bov, i just took it apart and put the smaller spring back in, and my surge is gone,thankfully, but is there a way to get the more aggressive sound out of it? I dont think i can make the spring anymore loose, otherwise the adjustment screw would be completely out. Has anyone heard of cutting the spring to make the stroke shorter and give a better sound?
btw its a single slam with a t3/t4, open dp, and no tune....
