Default AEM EMS/S300 questions

I have the AEM 30-1010, I am looking to make 400+WHP on E85 and 500whp on race gas. I was contemplating going COP w/ the EPM and DIS. I know the stock ignition is good and I know the hall sensor is recomended for use w/ the AEM but is it really necessary under my circumstances. Im stuck on whether to sell my AEM and go S300 or stick w/ what I have. This will be weekend street/drag car.
I have also heard the AEM needs alot of tweaking tuning wise and that it is overkill for my application. I want to tune @ Evans but may not be able to make the drive this spring due to distance. If Evans was tuning I wouldnt be so hesitant to keep the AEM. Im not so sure of the local tuners in S/W Ohio...... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

trying to tune on AEM with out the T1 cam trigger is a waste of time in my opinion, we use the T1 trigger on all the AEM cars we do.

unless you want to do COP, it sounds like the S300 can do everything you need it to do.

If the aem is set-up correctly you shouldnt have to touch it unless you make changes to your set-up, or are track tuning the car. Pretty much all aem ems tunes anymore i use an integrated wideband and set-up closed loop wideband feedback. It keeps the tune super consistent in all seasons.

true, i have ems, im making 333 whp, is it overkill? i dunno but it means i get free tuning i love it, it does anything and everything me or my tuner wants, we make changes all the time cause im always changing parts and it seems very easy for my tuner to use, i know its his ems of choice for honda's, evos, supras, etc...
