Exactly what I was thinking!! Sounds like a stoner, or he has something like chew in his mouth.
The video of the blown up parts had me like this
the whole time, espically the part with the huge piece of block.

Damn, every time I watch it it gets funnier and funnier. I an't get enough of the dialouge that goes down between these two.
The dude driving the car is all nonchalant about it and the kid filming it sounds like he's got headgear on or swallowed his tounge or some ****.
Great video

Hmmm...this makes me think about the "Honda's aren't meant to be boosted" thread.
Looks like OE Turbo DSM's are not all that they are cracked up to be.
Doesn't surprise me really.
I had a bone stock GST in 97, it was in the shop soooooooo many times, they gave me my money back. Their tech training center even rebuilt the whole engine from scratch, and they STILL didn't fix the problem.
**** DSMs

Sounds like a few tools. From the video it looks like the stock t25 turbo, at best its the t28 upgrade. You really have to work pretty hard to crack a 4g63 with that turbo, but i guess it can be done. In any case. watching the second video, I saw some signal lines that would be condusive to a manual boost controller and hopefully a boost gauge. I guess what could be said is that in the wrong hands a manual boost controller can break stuff LOL.
In any case, here is a stock 1990 4g63 stretching its legs like it does every day of its life (even in the winter).

It did kinda seem like a 2 step or soft touch on the launch but I have never heard a dsm bounce the limiter repeatedly so I am hardly am informed source on the sound.
although, I would not doubt that could have been the stock one... given he pop'd the motor being a douche.
