Default block sleeved help

hi men
i have oferd from a frind to sale a b20 block this frind tell me it is sleeved and he was send this pic. can tell me is it writ sleeved or not

yeah it looks to me that its a block gaurd. not sleeved.

It is hard to tell from the photo,but to me it looks like Golden Eagle sleeves.

i can see the separate iron and aluminum which means to me OEM with a block guard.

this photo take by phone cam my frind sent to me he is in kwait and i am in ksa
this block with cp piston 9:1. egle rod and acl bearing . he used this engine about 2k with turbo after that he change his plan to h22a turbo .
may i puy this block to my eg

i have also edlbrock vectorX intek. sc6152e precision turbo. rev hard turbo manfold. tail 38" westgate. vortech bov. b18c5 cylinder head ported with toda cams and jasma full exhust 2.5"
this my project what your opnion in my plan is it good ?need a help and comment plez

I think you have the right idea. all you need is a good engine management and some nice sized injectors and your set. it really depends on what your using the car for.

It is a block guard possibly the old STR version. As for sleeves it hard to say if it is a sleeve or the impression from the head gasket. Need a clean pic of the deckto be sure.

How about asking us - ask your friend! Tell your friend that you can't decide w/o a better picture. I he wants any more that $50 for it, you'll want to make sure. A used, very cheap sleeved block will be no less than $500.

If I could guess any sleeve I would say GE, but could be just a block guard as well.
