block guard?
OEM sleeves are just fine unless you are going over say...350 whp.
However there are tons of 600+whp cars doing it on stock sleeves.
Block guards are known to create heat issues as well. I would recommend either sleeving the block or block posting.

IIRC block posting is drilling holes through your block so that you can stick a metal rod through it. The end of the post butts up against the outer part of the cylinder. on the outside of the block the post is welded up so it doesn't move.
