notching block with eagle rods
Anyone have any info/articles on notching d series blocks using eagle rods? I'm going to be building a d16z6 for a friend using eagle's. Thanks.

Re: notching block with eagle rods (true)
I asked something related to this a while back. Mista bone, informed me that early versions of Eagle rods did require notching of the block for proper fitment. However, newer versions of the rod should not. Hopefully mista bone can see this and elaborate.

I was referring specifically to D series rods, I have no clue about B18's. Also, when I read about the d16 rods requiring notching, it was maybe 2 years ago, not sure how long after that they changed.
