Do you have a boost gauge? Sounds like one of your clamps came off on your piping and so you're aren't boosting at all... At .45 bar, my Blitz DD makes a loud and clear pssssssshhht noise.
have you cleaned out the valve? I bought a blitz off ebay, and when I used it it fluttered alot. After cleaning it the valve works alot better, I get a normal bov whoosh.
If you get no sound though, I bet you have a leak somewhere. I did the same thing when I drove my car the first time, I forgot to tighten a clamp, and got nothing..

Yup, I blew my pipes loose a couple of times... No boost, make sure the pipes are a good way into the clamps and screw them down tight so they won't blow off
