Billet precision 5857 on B18c?
hey all
had a look but not many B16/B18's on these billet 5857's. Anyone tried one yet? Ive just bought one for my Built B18c4'd Civic EG9. Its a track car so wanted soome spool/response. had planned on a compound setup but due to complexity have gone for a smaller single bine setup. I got the 4" S-ported inlet and V-Band .63 backhousing. Should be nice i hope, id like to do 30psi and make 500-520ish BHP at flywheel. Thats quite big numbers for a track car here in UK. My old setup on S256 was cool and did 12.0@121mph on a stock B18.
Cheers for any input. Marc

Re: Billet precision 5857 on B18c?
I ran a cast wheel 5857 with a .63 ar exhaust side last year on my B18c1. It was running 9.6:1 compression and I was getting full spool at 4500rpms. I really liked how it felt as far as a usable powerband. I made 400whp on 16 lbs on 93 oct and made 450ish on e85 running 17 lbs of boost. I think it would suite you just fine.
