What is the biggest turbo you guys would recommend for a daily driver aiming at 10's in a civic coupe 1.8 ls/vtec.

t3/60-1 .63a/r would probably be a good turbo for a daily driver.

 

What's the problem with that?

Just because you have a 400-500whp car doesn't mean it's a 400-500whp car on the street on pump gas with a low boost setting.

Sure, I guess. When I read the post, it just seemed a little funny that he wanted a 10 sec daily driver but was not sure how big his turbo should be, as if he wasn't going to get the biggest turbo that would give him 10 seconds, but a smaller one that would still allow daily driving and still give him 10 seconds. Just came across like he was looking at two extremes. I'll just crawl off in the corner and keep my mouth shut.

 

Yea I want to run 10s (on race gas ofcourse), take off my slicks and drive home.

 

60-1 t3 with either .63a/r or .82a/r if you want some big dyno #'s. I have currently have the .63a/r 60-1 t3 and i get full boost at 4800-5000. Its great, i get traction and the top end pull is exactly what i want.
