Big oil leak!!!!!!!!!
i just recently installed a drag 3 on my gsr. 3 days later after the install my car is leaking so much oil. it's not from the oil pan nor from the oil feed. the leak is coming from behind the motor (side towards the fire-wall). What can it be?? Any advice??
its your sending line for sure. ITs probably as slight hole in it which is leaking. Mine did that even though it was a brand new kit. I would reccommend getting a new line and tightening your fitting for the oil pressure sending unit.
i'm almost sure it's not the sending line. What else could it be if it's not the sending line?? My car is also letting out alot of black smoke (i mean alot). what could it be??
Black smoke usually means you're running rich. Blue smoke would be oil. How much black smoke are you showing and when? It is normal under WOT.
If the oil leak is not from the line, then check that Tee that is under the oil pressure sender. Make sure you have it on tight with some sealant.

the leak is only going to be coming from something you have changed. Therefore it can only be the Oil feed, Oil return oil pan or oil filter. I doubt it is the oil filter, the oil return is on the wong side of the block, you say it is not the oil pan itself, so that only leaves it being the oil feed. I would bet that it is where you tee'd it to the pressure seding unit. There isnt that much room to work in there so it is quite possible it isnt quite as tight as it should be.

my friend just told me that it could be my crank shaft seal. could it be??
Sometimes oil leaking from the back of the block will leak onto your downpipe and make it seem like you're burning oil, when its just leaking onto your downpipe and is being burnt off of it.
Not flaming ya, but you don't seem to be too mechanically knowledgeable about your car. If you had an oil leak you would see the spillage on the ground and you would notice it on the dipstick for sure, and you would smell it for sure.
If its just black smoke coming out your exhaust, your running rich, that's it. You need to lean it out that's all.
Get under there roll up your sleeves and see what's goin on.

ok, i found out everything that's happening. All the smoke wasnt' coming out my exhaust, it was coming from under the car (oil burning on the downpipe). The oil leak wasn't coming from the oil feed, like i said. It was coming from a square black box that plugs into the block (it looks like some kind of breather or something). I just want to say thank you for all the replies and support.
it's not the pcv valve that was bad. When Dr. boost slapped in my manifold he took off the bolt that hold that box in place, and he never put it back in.

That is False the bolt was put back in. Second of all the seal that goes in to the block from that box is supposed to be changed. Having all the right parts, makes the install a lot faster, and more reliable.
Thanks

Well, Dr. Boost didn't inform me of anything. I wasn't told that i needed new seals.
A good mechanic should always inform the customer of what's going on.
But, back to the point. Thank you honda-tech guys for all the info.

I thought you did the install, my bad. That is why I hate to let other people work on my car, you never know exactly what they did. And when there is a problem it takes twice as long to find it.
ps I got a lot of oil on the downpipe once and it was QUITE the smoke show. I had smoke billowing from beh8ind me for a good half mile on the freeway, not ot mention the smoke filling the cabin until I opened the windows.
