Hey i have a h22 with 1000cc rc's.
I got dyno tuned and the tuner said that i have to run rich if i want to the idle to be low.

I was just wondering if that was true. It idles at high 11's to 12.

That seems a little to rich for an idle to me.

I have 1200's in my h22 and I idle under 1000rpms just fine. What tuning software do you have?

if you dont run it richer it just makes a realy annoying popping noise. shoulda went with image dynamics bosch 1000's and this wouldnt have been an issue. they run better than stock. i idle my car in the 15's without a single hickup

he was probly talking about the injector on time would be getting to short at the 14.7 levels. But even the ontime on the 1000's shouldnt be that dremastic to make it idle rough even at leaner ratio's and lower rpm's. What kind of camshafts are you running?

he said he had to make it richer cause the injectors were having a hard time opening up in such little amounts for 14.7

the only was it would idle below 1000rpm was to run rich which is like 11's once i get moving the wide band is in 14's,13's.

i was just seeing if this a common issue
