Icon2 Bi-Turbo Civic tips(NO HATERS)

i wanna do a Bi-Turbo H22a swap into a 1993 civic coupe! The engine swap will be the easy part, but how ever the Bi-Turbo setup will be the hard part. i would like to run 2 gt28 turbos but i want to run 1 turbo off the engine then for the 2nd turbo i want run the exhaust down pipe to the exhaust inlet on the 2nd turbo. now i need to know how to run the boost end of the turbos

the bi-turbo is possible

The outlet of one feeds into the inlet of another. It's been proven that a single turbo makes more sense on a Honda. There's a lot of performance loss from heat loss from the excess piping in a biturbo setup.

If your dead set on this silliness why not twin charge with a turbo and supercharger? This has been done with decent success.

You seriously posted a link for that POS delsol with probably the shittiest turbo setup ive seen in a long time as reference ???? that delslow has an ebay chinese crack apart manifold on it and soem sort of insanly hacked up way to mount a second turbo with no intercooler feeding directly to the intake manifold, which is doable on very low boost.

Not being a hater just simply stating that you shouldnt be going off some hack job like that as reference to obtain a properly working twinturbo setup

You can do a twinturbo if you have the money and/or fabrication skills but time and time again this has been sdisscussed and the benifits doesnt outweigh the headache. A properly sized turbo will make more power than rigging up two smaller turbos in a series.

IMO if you ARE dead set on doing this it would be best with two smaller turbos than the gt28's for better fitment, either way its going to be a nightmare to build a manifold and route all that extra tubing etc.

If i were to tackle somethign of this nature i would do it with two smaller turbos like off a saab or audi or seomthign a litte larger than that and build a tubular manifold with two flanges with the correct cylinders routed to each turbo not just 1-2 to 3-4 there is a proper way to do that. and feed both turbos to one side of an intercooler not one feeding another as thats really power loss over a single turbo imo

Hmmmm... (4) TD025 turbos and you'll be the talk of the town! Don't forget to buy (4) Super noisy BOVs.

The "boost end" is just like the "exhaust end" with compound turbos. One turbo feeds or "compounds" into the other turbo. And you dont want two small turbos. You want a small turbo feeding a large turbo.

Thats ^ the youtube link to the video of that Delsol.... just keep in mind that Supras that come twin turbo always upgrade to single turbo to make power.....this setup really isnt ideal for a small displacement engine...

Are u somehow planning to do highway runs/pulls with this? then at least the smaller turbo feeding a larger turbo for top end would make sense...

let him try it, whats the big deal? did you see how the guy built the 2jz engine? I think if he uses a turbo like a 16g for low end power then a turbo like a 6262 for the top end he can make some power, with a decent power curve. As long as the fab work is done properly and everything flows right. Read up the thread about the solstice and the 300zx with a 2jz. It makes sense.

Try all you want. 99.9999999% The people that actually do these kinds of things don't post up in a forum asking advice. They just do it then tell you about it later.

Not a hater but going to have to agree with LS Turbo, logic wise stupid idea, waste of money won't get to far. The headache ur going to have is going to be crazy. Good luck.
