Default Bi-turbo B18C-R

Is it possible to make a bi-turbo on a B18C-R engine?

Yes, but why. twin/bi turbo has been covered a lot of times.
It is just a difficult ineffective way of doing things.

Btw: put on ur flamesuit

Not only is a twin/bi-turbo setup on a Honda unnecessary, but it is rather bulky. Since most of the Honda platforms offer limited space, you'll have a hard time making everything fit properly. It isn't impossible, rather impractical

Twin turbo configuration are mainly for V6/V8 application due to the separate banks on both sides of the motor. A single turbo configuration is more than adequate on a 4 cylinder if the turbo is sized right for the attended application. Twin turbo on a 4 cylinder just adds unnecessary weigth and added cost and parts.

What my idea was, to put two T2.5 on it and maye to get more Torque at low Rpm. Maybe I'm wrong at it's just an idea.

ps. about the low space in a Honda? I must say that I have plenty space in my Del Sol!! easy to put a bi-turbo in it.

Well if you want to mess around and get it to fit, then be my guest. Remember that if you get 2 T25's, you're going to have to spool both of them which may not give you the desired low end power you're looking for...

You are right...it's like having a 0.9 liter 2 cylinder engine spool a T25 turbo.

So if I get it right it's NOT possible or better said not efficient enough to build a bi-turbo on a B18C-R?

You'll be better off with a single turbo, but if you want to go through the hassle of building a twin setup, let us know how it works for you

Yes, the 3rd gen rx7s are twin turbo. But, thats different. It runs them sequentially, and the rotary produces more exhaust gases to spool them than a 4 cylinder would. The twin setup is very complicated and unreliable anyways, a lot of 3rd gen guys already have or want to pull those little twins and put in a larger single turbo.

even tho a 13b engine is classifyied as a 1.3L its honestly not its closer to a 3.0L. i cant remember how exactly they calculate it in japan but it was just a way to get around the gentlemens agreement there, and tax laws for engine over 2.2L in europe.
