Default between the two..

given a choice, which of would you go with?

b16a (http://www.hmotorsonline.com/shop/sc...age&item=30021) or b18b (http://www.hmotorsonline.com/shop/sc...age&item=30023)

It's for a daily driver... potential turbo down the road... I wouldn't be boosting to say 20psi ... 5-10 max probably...

I don't have the $ for a k series, so budget build is the plan.. I figure a turbo b will do the job just fine..

opinions?

thanks..

Depends on what your looking for. A b16 is going to have to rev more to get its power while the b18b has a wider powerband and no vtec. It all depends on what ur looking for and price. b18b would be quite a bit cheaper than b16.

Based on the prices and usage... you'd be happier with the b18b. The SiR b16a is a better deal since boost makes up for torque and weaker cams, and overall it will be faster.

And with those prices, the b16 is definately better.
