best valve train to use
I was wondering what valve train to use, I have a built b16 block that i want to rev to 10k.(reason why is cause the block was already reved to almost 11 and still making power) I just want to know what valve train to run im going to be using pro1 cams. I just want to know whats good and what pound spring, I was thinking of going with all skunk 2 stuff with the 93 spring, alpha valves. If anyone can help me out it would be greatly appreciated. I am still very new to the site and have not got the hang of reading mail if anybody can txt me that would help me out thanks 775-303-7643 ryan

Re: best valve train to use
There's no way you have a turbo motor making power to 11k without some ginormous turbo... and if the bottom end was turning that then the head should already be capable of supporting it.
unless this is a drag car there's no reason to turn a motor that high... no one needs to do that to make power anymore unless it's a drag car and you need the rpm to stay in a certain gear.
what power are you trying to make to begin with.
